Connecting to buy hero points

I opened a ticket weeks ago, but apparently the issue has been dropped from tech support. On an older HTC android. My anti-virus is shut off, and any time I click the hero points icon to buy hero coins I get “No Connected - Couldn’t connect to the app store> Check you internet connection and try again”.

I’ve bought items off the market, all my info is set up. No other connectivity issues with the game…well, the facebook login is buggy as well, but don’t really care. Tried it on different wifis, on my mobile network. Ran through every setting on my phone i can think of.

Any suggestions? Love the game, and have played it for a while, but I’m at the point where I’m just going to turf it if I can’t buy hero coins. Thanks.

I’ve run into this problem as well on my Nexus 5. Not sure if you’ve tried this already (and I know this is going to sound silly) but have you tried terminating the app and opening it again fresh? I’m able to open the game’s HP/ISO store page again after I swipe/close the app and re-open it.

Actually it doesn’t sound silly…I feel silly for missing a step in troubleshooting 101. I gave it a shot, and restarted my phone and tried it one more time…but didn’t work. Really appreciate the advice though. Cheers.
