Cooldown Confusion

Hey all. If this has already come up, I apologize. Wasn’t able to find the right search term with all the cooldown threads I found and looked through.

Are cooldowns in place for all shields or just the one purchased?

In other words: if I buy an 8 hour shield, can I buy a 3 hour shield shortly after it ends/I break the shield or do I have to wait 8 hours? I get that i won’t be able to buy another 8 hour for 8 hours.

Yes, you are correct.

If you buy a 3 hr shield, the 8 hr cool down is applicable to the 3 hr shield only. You still can break shield and then buy a 8 hr shield.
