CotT: Luke Cage vs. Gamora

I set my Luke to 5/3/5 (from 5/5/3) for this fight, but it ended up being a waste of time - I never managed to get more than 7 red the entire match. The board was absolutely awash in yellow and green, and by the time Gamora managed to fire her red power (earning me one protect tile, of course), I was able to cast Luke’s yellow power THREE times in a row. That ended the match, even though casting his yellow with only one friendly special is pretty dang low-bang-for-the-buck.

Luke is a 4* that I almost never see in the Sim or in PvP - I don’t think I’ve seen him in a match in a pick 2 or pick 3 this entire year.

Luke was my second champed 4* and he is a monster but it takes a while to get him going. That said, I was pretty lucky and the board was awash with yellow and red but starved of blue. Gamora was roughed up with some yellow hits and then hit with a Bunch’a fiddle faddle to death.
