What is going on with the PvP Progression Daken love fest?
Most PvP events have a character cover or two in the 100-900 range, for the past several events that character has been Daken and only Daken.
Black Widow event? Daken cover
Heroic Event? Daken cover
3-Star Event? Daken cover
Not that I have anything against Daken, but it would be nice to see some variety. Is there a reason why the lower cover rewards are currently all Daken all the time?
Because the next tournament is going to be a Daken/Dark Avengers tourney would be my guess.
Been featured in the placing s too. In the Thornament, I decided to just finished top 50 because I wanted the black Daken cover. If I’d realized there’d be a 3-star this week, I’d have gotten the Loki covers instead. 
I think I could have build a second 5/5 daken with the sheer number they have given away, and lets not talk about the 150hero cost villain packs … 9/10 draws were daken or bullseye …
Yeah the Daken rewards have been a bit overwhelming. I have a couple friends who barely play and they all have Daken with 5/5 covers as well.
I would rather get Heroic Booster packs than Daken covers.
I’ve probably made 2000 ISO because I’ve sold them all.
I too have probably sold 10-15 extra darken covers already.
Plus Daken as the daily supply reward in 3 days. Is there anyone out there who doesn’t have a 5/5 Daken yet?
Me. I’m at 5/4 though, and 3 star tournament will top me off. I’ve probably vendored half a dozen purples already.
I always toss my dakens, don’t have him.
He’s not bad, the heroic juggernaut version is outhealing my thor on match 3s. Only reason I don’t use him is too much overlap between him and **Wolverine.
I like using him alongside Wolverine. Strike tiles stack up REALLY fast
I was going to post something along these lines as well. Its like they want to make it up to him because his purple power wasn’t great and now its been significantly buffed.
Also he is a very popular cover reward in the Daily Rewards as well. I originally sold most of my Daken’s but now I’ve decided to give him a try because he doesn’t need AP which is great for Model 40 who is such a all color AP abuser lol.
Yeah, but then I feel wasteful using wolverine’s green when every red on the board is already a strike tile. What I’d like to do is daken/bullseye, but I’ve only gotten 2 bullseye covers.
They want more people to use Daken. Two apparent benefits is less c.Storm/Thor and gives Loki more purpose.
Been using Daken a lot. He’s pretty good, especially if you don’t want to constantly use health packs. He’s not as good as Thor or c.Storm though.
Wolverine/ Daken / Bullseye would be the ultimate trolling team. All those animations and the defense tiles would go nicely with the healing of the other two. I already skip Wolverine / Daken teams because the wait is just not worth it.
I’ve done this a couple of times with that thought in mind but it actually got too annoying for me to deal with 
Maybe it’s going to be a Daken-only tournament, where you have to use three Dakens. I can’t think of anything else that would require such a number of Daken covers.

What were the devs thinking?
Oddly enough, I got a random message today saying I came in the top 75 of a Thor tournament, and what does it decide to give me… another Daken of course. Still not sure what made the game suddenly decide I was a winner, but there you go.
