Dakkon PW Surveil Ability [Investigating]

When you surveil with Dakkon PW’s 1st ability, the next card you draw does not match the card draw order from the original, surveil cards.

In this video, I surveil with Dakkon’s 1st. The expectation is that the next card drawn would be Kami War. Instead, the next card drawn was Void Rend.

In this video, I surveil with Mission Briefing. The expectation is that the next card drawn would be Discovery, and that was the case.

Frankly, I have just stopped using the first ability, because it is so unpredictable. It is his third that wins the game anyways.

Same thing happens with the Dakkon VG as well

I just stick 3 cards in the grumper, and then I know what I’m going to draw next.

I think the surveil window for Dakkon PW and vanguard are showing the cards in reverse order. From JT’s first video Void Rend is drawn after surveilling, which is in the typically 4th card slot. I just tried out vanguard Dakkon surveil and had this group of cards:

I chose to discard the Dakkon and Inzerva, and you would expect to draw Cabaretti next but I drew the Earth-Cult Elemental, and then drew Cabaretti after that. I’m pretty sure the Inzerva also went into my graveyard before the Dakkon, making the layout look like:
