Well maybe not just quite yet.. does anyone remember when the awesome vaults hit last year in dec. Though it was by now. The ones that had the 5 stars. Slots and the other great stuff
I think last year I had like 150.000 hp and took it down to less then 40k on them.
Well back up to almost 120k. Let’s bring them back.
First thought how the hell did I earn 80k plus in a single year. Then I remember I got 7 of those 1 stars ascended to 5 for 20 bucks. Got 3 max and one more close so right there was 80k
Back to point.

Starting to think maybe they were too good and not coming back.
So far the same template from last year seems to be in effect…dueling winter wonderland vaults for a week followed by another two wwv for another week and then the dec deals vault.
Another week before we’ll find out if it follows exactly like last year.
I can accept that the vaults with tons of Legendary, Classic tokens and roster slots were too generous. But the overpriced daily lightning vaults that gated another limited vault is taking it too far.
The current winter wonderland vault which can be cleared for 5100 hp should be the happy medium.

Pretty stoked as well. I like tracking this sorta stuff for my roster progress as well as comparing how repeat vaults from year to year compare or change from one year to the next.
With the 2 old tokens, the 40-pack, the 10-pack, and the 1 offer, I pulled everything except one 3*, one iso pack, and one riso pack. I think I am good for now…
Now we know why they released the cover swap for HP when they did. A lot of players will already have these at 550 and will now be able to put them on another character.
Vault lasts 6 days so hopefully fresh rotation of 5 stars at that point.

P.S. I keep forgetting to ask but how do you get tokens for the year in review vault? It’s been open a while now and I haven’t gotten a single token.
Pulled all 56. I had 2 juggernaut covers sitting there and I’ll be able to max/max him after this vault run. I’ll check my notes again from last year but iirc it’s the same vault content from last year, characters and everything.

I’ve only seen them in deals that you can purchase, I think all for cash.
A little while ago we got 2 tokens for a lot of older vaults (like 10th anniversary), there were also 2 " December Deal vaults among those. I had not opened them yet and they apparently applied also to this vault.
Whelp, sorry Namor, I’m going to need the HP. I’ll probably be able to get you to 550 if I really want to anyway, it will all depend on your littermates.
(I’m gonna get all the daily deals every day then either reset or pull until I’m done then reset the following day. I’ll come out ahead in the long run.)
Now the big question is do I level my dupes for my 550s (Kang, Chasm, and Okoye at the moment, but Kitty will get there too,) or use HP to roll those covers into someone else? I’m thinking I’ll level the dupes I have right now (all the above but Kitty and Chasm, also all the shard characters,) but not re-roster them and instead roll over the covers (if I can afford it.)
Most people seem to be focused on 5* with this, but I’m interested in whether it’s worth spending HP to power-level and/or power-ascend 2* and 3*. 1* are so abundant that it’s probably not worth it.
