In the AWR match against Zhalfarin Void, the AI used Deep Freeze on my Evra. I reinforced it afterwards, which added power and toughness appropriately, but didn’t restore lifelink. This may be intended, but seems unintuitive to me, so I would appreciate confirmation on whether this is a bug.
Technically it shouldn’t add power either. I think that’s the part that’s bugged (like Thumatic Compass when it came out)
Yeah, I figure one of the two things is a bug. I think it would be better if it somehow set the creature as different, so new copies could replace rather than reinforce. I just think getting a new copy of a creature out, it should have its evergreens and power/toughness, because it would be a separate creature in paper, and you had to do the work to get it out. I wonder if pilot-added evergreens (on a freshly summoned reinforcement) would be added to a creature that had been hit with Deep Freeze? I suspect they would.
