Right now for me, probably Spidey(95), Rags(85) and **Wolvie(60).
—Who would you hate deleting?
I don’t have a lot of super high level characters. I like my max Thor but he is 3-5-5 (and overshadowed by Rags regardless). Everyone else for me is 80 or below. I keep putting iso in to Iron Man 40 but can’t find a use for him. I like Grey Widow but mine is 3-5-5 and only level 60.
I only have 3 red cMagneto covers and 1 of each for Doom or this would probably be a different story.
Loki, Bagman, Hawkeye. OK, now that that’s out of my system. If I couldn’t level anymore, I’d go Thor, C. Storm, and Grey Suit. That’s a rough call. My three stars are still being groomed. If I could level them after the purge, I’d go Hood, Grey Suit, and Rag. Again, that’s rough.
Hate Losing:
My 5/5/4 IM35. I know he doesn’t come in handy too often anymore, but he’s unique and unobtainable. Spidey. I haven’t gotten to fully develop and use him. Thor. He’s gotten me where I am today, and I still use him.
Spidey, Cap, Wolvie. Not the greatest team, but Spidey and Cap are my favourite superheroes. Wolvie is just filler until someone better comes along, like Hulk or Ms. Marvel.
I’d hate deleting Thor because he’s still my best character and am too reliant on him.
I’d wondered if there were folks with “illegal” builds after the 20->5 power changeover. Unfortunately I didn’t really visit the forums until just after that change, or I’d have tried for the same.
Provided I can continue leveling him, Spidey would need to be one. For the others, it’s hard to pick a team that isn’t the same boring thing everyone would pick. **Wolverine maybe. Throw Original Widow in there just to be different. Quick heal capabilities, stun lock, massive damage from Wolverine, AP stealing and countdown counter with Widow. Versatile if not a brute force powerhouse, all the colors are covered, and widow is even “strong” in environmental tiles.
That’s what I meant by unobtainable. Fatcatfan is right. I got it through the patch change. Funny thing was that I had messed up my upgrade because I didn’t know about the limit at the time. I don’t think there are many overpowered builds out there. I doubt there are too many still useful, but it still feels like a collector’s piece.
They’re illegal in the true sense of the word, in that the game doesn’t consider them legal character builds. They throw up errors when they’re used in debug builds.
Thor, M.Storm, and M.Black Widow. That will change eventually as I level up other characters.
I have massive direct damage with Thor, including an AOE if necessary.
A dot and a screen clearer with Storm.
A stun and thievery with Widow.
And together they use all colors. Thor red, yellow, green; Storm green and black; Widow blue and purple. I focus on getting Thor’s red and yellow, but in those times when those aren’t available I’m still building up either Storm or Widow’s abilities. Works pretty well, even though the two fems are a tad squishy for my tastes. Thor is usually in the front though because I focus on collecting his gems and he does the most damage.
I also like the gray Magneto, gray Widow and possibly Captain America, although he’s not high enough yet for me to see if he’s really useful.
I would keep classic magneto, Spider-man, and I guess rags. I’d really be tempted to keep my doom over rags if.he ever gets a third ability, since he will tank for.the other two on blue matches and does great demon damage, but rags is my highest level at 100.
There are a couple. I’d have to double check, but I think all the 5/5/5s are 1 stars. So I don’t think there’d be any problems with them in the future balance-wise.
