How awesome is it to be attacked on an exceptional battlefield such as Desert, only to get the chance to retaliate using the Latveria battlefield? Is there something I missed, an announcement of some sort?
Randomized available Environments on pins for Versus Events. (Each pin will use the same environment for the duration of the event, but the environments will vary from event to event.)
I’m assuming this means everyone gets the same environment and not that it’s individually randomized, right? 'Cause if not, that’s really unfair to the poor fool who doesn’t get the desert one.
They are static. Top, left and right nodes are the same for the duration of an event. That’s how he knows probably. It doesn’t mean he was attacked from desert certainly though. He might have been attacked after they changed Desert to Latveria.
Yeah, I was just making sure that there was no way to tell what environment you got hit on from the “You were attacked” pop-up because my understanding was that retaliations were assigned a random position regardless of the attack environment.
This just in: Desert is broken as all hell!
I think it went something like this:
“Okay, so desert is back in rotation. Let’s see what happens.”
“Oh look, M.Storm is winning games. A lot of games. Against full 141 teams.”
“Time to take desert off, huh?”
You’re getting ahead of yorself, miggle lines are obviously “let’s nerf mStorm’s green”.
The only thing we can take for granted is that env rebalancing will not happen – just because we asked for it too many times. So we just stay with all the under/overpowered s-t.
Oh, yeah? So where’s those tons of super broken M.Storms among my attackers? I’d like to retaliate against them very much - that’s, basically, a free win against 2 cover team. But there’s NONE.
I had a single hit – ant it was actually a mstorm party.
Also my one and only offensive defeat was from a mstorm/obw/medium patch – after my first move a red 5-match got offered to ai → red, ungodly cascade, full stock of blue, purple, green and my patch and mags barely over 1/3 health. I decided to retreat for good
Annoying, but risky on the part of the AI, and requires a modicum of luck to keep going. Chances are that as soon as it falters and you get a turn, you can flip things around.
