Destroying it will give the first creature a permanent and bigger biuff.
Destruction is done with heliods intervention
Confirming this was happening for me as well. Using a “destroy support” card would remove the support from the field, but the buff would remain.
Update - this is not limited to Kalemne. It’s happening when you destroy Urza’s support token as well. Testing using Smash to Smithereens, a mutation, and matching gems.
I want to chime in here. I played Chance for Glory on one of the Duets of Mana nodes.
The effect happened the first time I played the card.. double strike, etc, etc.
The effect of taking X damage lingered through the rest of the match…
After every attack phase I took damage base on the power of the creatures I had on the field.
