What is with this game’s boner for Spider-verse characters? I just saw the new 3 (April Parker Mayhem ) and 5 star (May Parker Spider-Girl) and big shock Spider-verse.
You guys do realize it’s Marvel Puzzle Quest right not Marvel Spider Quest?
you give more new character from the spider-verse than any fraction of the Marvel Universe.
I am surprised with X-men97 being a big hit we haven’t had more X-men characters

The devs didn’t have the heart to tell you, but the next characters to be released have long since been scheduled to capitalize off of the success of Sony’s “Madame Web” movie:
I’m honestly quite excited for Mayday. It’s Peter Parker’s daughter afterall. And only those who are vocal complain about Spider-Verse. There are many who don’t speak up on the forums or on the social media who enjoy the addition of Spider characters.
Spider-Man is still one of the single biggest sellers for Marvel comics so it makes sense they’d receive the most focus.
And while you upset over another Spider character, you still admitted you have certain Spider characters you would want to see. There are many who don’t want Spider characters, but those same people often have exceptions to that. Specific Spider-Man characters they would like to see.
Mayday meanwhile, is going to be an instant 5 star for me and someone I’ll be putting a lot of effort into upgrading.

I am talking new characters not variations of already existing ones. Add Morph and Sunspot to that list. I thought they would have been in during/after 97.
Personally, I’ve been requesting Mayday for years, so I’m stoked she’s finally making it into the game.
We had a lot of Spidey last summer (Summer of Symbiotes and Across the Spider-Verse will do that), but for 2024 we’ve had more X-Men (Multiple Man, Black King, two X-23, two Jubilee) than Spidey (two Aunt May, two Mayday, and Electro), and just as many that were neither (Iron Doom, two Phyla-Vell, two Victor Mancha, and Angela)
There’s tons more they could add for any major faction, and I think they’re doing a good job of striking a balance right now.
Add me to the Spider-Girl fans: the only long-running comic I bought every issue of (and the other MC2 titles).
But I also feel that there are not enough X-Men in this game, so no more Spider-verse characters for quite some time, pretty please?!
