They could have held off until next week (in repricing the boosts) , since they knew they had a broken event that people had invested their time and money into.
But they didn’t, because they don’t respect your time and they don’t respect the user.
You think they’d be more respectful to their playtesters of this game.
It’s pretty upsetting that for me to play the Anderson Inc. sub event I have to purposely lose to even have a chance at possibly winning. If I’m going to take a dive, I would like some compensation. Just Sayin’
I’ve gone from being competitive with some work and ISO expenditure to only being able to “win” a Daredevil cover by throwing wads of cash at the game. I’m a paying customer, but I’m not an ATM.
There are some AI behaviors that can be taken advantage of. I’ve been making notes on this for awhile, but I decided to do a proof of concept on them.
#1 in Thick as Thieves now, and all other events I’ve decided to compete in. My teams are just using a blue/purple boost as a hedge against lousy boards.
The amount of competition is way, way down. I usually have trouble staying in the top fifty. With a page of AI notes and very careful play, I can pull off rather tedious wins. It’s mostly just proof of concept at this point (I’m a mathematician specializing in combinatorial games).
The recent changes only magnifies the errors they’re not fixing.
