Die Young?

I just opened a three card pack and got Die Young, which appeared to be a 5 to cast common that give -x/-x to target creature, where x equals the amount of energized gems on the board, and then de-energized all gems on the board. Understandably, I was eager to put it in my Dovin deck. When I went to my card list, it wasn’t there. When I sorted by set and type, it wasn’t thete. When I sorted by set, type and all cards, wasn’t there…

So I’m wondering, are cards from Aether Revolt (or whatever it’s called) somehow making their way into the loot tables and then not showing because the set isn’t out yet?

Figured I would throw this out there in case I’m not the only one that’s experienced this.

Dovin can’t use black cards.

Sure thing. I’d be lying if I said I hadn’t made the same mistake at some point in the past. I once spent like 10 minutes trying to figure out why I couldn’t put Gone Missing in my Ob deck.

Same here… What do you mean I can’t use my favourite card caustic caterpillar in every deck?

(Broken card BTW, it’s like somewhere between 4 and 7 mana for a 1/1 vanilla creature. OP.)

I ran into a lvl 60 Garruk deck that had Caustic Caterpillar. I was like “really?”. Then I saw the rest of his deck was vehicles.

I’ve tried the vehicle thing, it sucks, but it was cute seeing a caterpillar trying to lead a convoy.

Hahaha. Yeah, now I’m just frothing at the mouth for the (hopefully) eventual blue/black PW. My favorite paper Magic decks were always sac/mill and bounce/discard. I’ve really been wanting to see how that translates to this format.
