If a blue Thor cover is reward ed for 1st in divine champions is it likely a yellow Thor cover will be the top progression reward for the following pvp?

Also do we know if Starlord will be added to the rotation for PvP top rewards?

This PVP seems extremely underwhelming. Why are they leaning on 3* Storm prizes so much?

i believe because she is likely to be a split essential in the next pve with starlord.

they did it previously with Elektra and other times, as well. but still.

I was okay when they did this with 3*Steve and Falcon because I actually wanted those characters.

People who play on steam, and are away from their computer. Or for people just enough Internet connection to get on the forums, but not get on the game at work. Which is me.

Remember that they’re testing the new PvP MMR: releasing a desired cover would cause a storm of forum complaints (although not releasing a desired cover seems to also cause forum complaints… a catch-22 maybe?)

Okay well they should test MMR like this instead:

  1. 1 Beast Cover 1 HP 1 ISO
    2-5. 13 Starlord covers 1 HP
    6-10. 78 Invisible Women Covers(6 Roster Slots), 5 ISO
    11-25. 3Storm replaces your entire roster, drains all your ISO
    26-50. 9,999,999,999 ISO
    51-100. 1,000 HP
    100-200. Those darn 2     Black Ms. Marvel covers I don’t have
    200-300. Your Next Event is Juggernaut Heroic(for PVE AND PVP) scaled already at 395
    301-400. You get Double Iso and a chance for HP to drop for the next week
    400-500. 4*Thor

I may put less effort into this than I ever have in a PVP. The only cover I"d have a use for is the 4* Thor, and I’m not going to get that regardless of what I do.

Ironically, the people who get it will likely already have a 4* Thor at 270.

Looks like a rather relaxed PvP. I wouldn’t object to another green Mohawk to respec her, but I won’t cry if I miss out. Going to try the same tubthumping tactic I used during double ISO week and see if it yields similar results.
I half expected Starlord as the top prize though as IceIX said the other off-season event would be a standard featured + two tournament and Starlord is the prime candidate. Guess it’s possible we might get Category-5 instead… I’d prefer No Man’s Land or Children of the Atom though.

Oh come on Ben. Max some of your characters already. PvE cannot provide you with enough covers to progress as long as you have been playing.

I don’t have enough covers for my 4* Thor to be truly competitive at the top of PVP anyway, and I don’t like PVP that much to begin with. Especially now that we’re going to 8 hour refreshes, and with the EXTREME exception of the current PVE event, I just prefer PVE anyway. I don’t want to scale myself out of it just to be marginally more competitive in something I don’t get a lot of enjoyment out of. If I start to develop a huge unspendable ISO reserve, or I get a bunch more covers for my 4* Thor, I’ll reevaluate.

Remember kids, don’t forget to buy your 10-or-42-cover packs for that whopping 1% chance at four-star Thor!

On a more serious note, if a new player ever wanted to spend money on packs this would be a very good choice… 12.7% each of 3 of the best 2* characters (Storm, Ares, Thor).
