Divine Champions is not part of the season, so…at least you can get to 1000 and then save HP by not bothering to shield?

I know that, but blue Professor X for first place here means purple Professor X will be the 1000 point progression in Predator and Prey this weekend. Sorely tempted to skip that one.
I don’t really need anything from this tournament either, so I’ll likely just play it for ISO and HP. If I have a chance to get to 1300, the better.

haven’t started in earnest but core will be thor/loki with various blue users - 2storm/mags/daken/etc. that’s the plan anyway.

I’ll probably run 4* Thor, Loki and Mohawk. It’s not quite an infinite turn team, but it’s not far from it.

it’s been awhile but I believe when lightning storm hits charged tiles they still count for the bonus AP+damage

I feel your pain edron. I had you queued up and was hoping you’d make a juicy target once you shielded.

First non-seed team I face is a bunch of level 94s (none boosted) and my team of boosted 120+s get curbstomped. This game does nothing but remind me that I’m a complete dumbass who can’t succeed at anything in life. I fucking hate it.

Edit: Lost my second match too because I keep setting up cascades for the AI. I fucking hate how retarded I am. Feel like I should just quit trying at this PvP and let my covers expire instead of push for HP because trying to win will just make me more depressed.

Edit2: Yeah, fuck this PvP. It’s nothing but super-boosted CStorm/Ares teams that kill me by turn 5. I have no way to win a match… so long Scarlet Witch, I heard you were good; guess I’ll never know.

Edit3: Hopped back on the horse. Got hit by a Polarizing Force that caused a 9(!) in a row red for the enemy. Next 2 turns involve Ares Sundering himself under 30% and double Rampaging me. GG no re. I mean, come the fuck on here. This is beyond me being bad and into the realm of outright rigged. Funny how this bullshit always happens whenever I need a new roster spot. Just give me my fucking hero points D3.

Edit4: Next match has Punisher drop strike tiles, only for the enemy Loki to immediately flip them over to his Protect tiles. Bull-fucking-shit. Ugh I hate this game so much.

Edit5: Loki uses Illusions every turn and gets 10+ AP out of it each time and infinite combos both *** Thor and Punisher from 95%+ health to 0. GO TO FUCKING HELL YOU STUPID FUCKING GAME I FUCKING HATE YOU GODDAMIT IT. FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU.

Edit6: My roommate asks me if I’m OK, so I decide to turn off the game for the night. Final score: 227. raises middle finger
