Afflict documentation states:
When a creature that has Afflict is blocked, the opponent’s creature also takes damage equal to the blocked creature’s power.

In Dec 2019, Afflict was fixed to work from berserker, too. The online documentation should probably be updated to match the in-game tool tip.
