Because after 2 weeks of tanking in lightning rounds now, I am getting baconmagic and haiguyzd00m as opponents again.
Yup, when you start seeing seed teams that means your MMR is nice and low.
I saw him in the Doom LR round last night with WannaBeSkrull and B@ttle_Ang3l (sp?). Considering I didnt see anyone that I knew to be human til almost 300 pts…my MMR was bottomed out.

Seems like it, I think I’ve faced him every Lightning round now. Maybe one of these days I’ll actually make use of my low MMR
It seems random to me. I’ve ran 3 consecutive LR in a row and went all out and then in the 4th one I’ve started with the filler teams. Could they simply just be a substitute for real competition until people start filing in?
BattleAngel sure looks stronger than most real players I run up against. I think they’re just the generic guys there while there are no other opponents. Certainly if you tried to attack BattleAngel with a weak team it’s going to get ugly.
I believe it can also mean you’re at the beginning of an event and have fewer actual players to fight.
