Well since then I have opened a majority of my tokens at the same place and time. After work at 5pm, when I open my tokens I see gold every time. If I open my tokens anywhere else it’s normally 2*s.
I opened 3 golds from the 4 Ultron apology tokens, including a HB! Yesterday I opened 3 golds from 5 Enemy of the State tokens, and last week I opened 4 250 HP in a row from DDQ tokens. Could it be just a coincidence? Or does the 3* pull % increase depending on time and location? I rarely pull at gold from home.
I read a lot of crazy things on the forums here, but I think this one takes that cake. I love it.
My guess is the app uses a combination of GPS data and speed to reward you for token redemption in situations where your life may be in danger. Next 10 pack, I am going to skydive and open it, I expect to get all gold tokens.
Don’t know if they still do, but RNG’s used to use time stamp data, so it’s not necessarily impossible for patterns to develop based on time, or maybe even GPS coordinates. But highly highly unlikely to ever discover such a pattern and be able to repeat it consistently enough to take advantage of it.
Assuming the RNG in MPQ makes any sense it’d almost certainly take the time of the day (measured in either milliseconds or nanoseconds) as a variable to seed your token pull, so yes time of the day indeed can affect your token result. All you have to do is somehow figure out the exact mapping of the RNG roll to tokens, and then open your token accurate to at least milliseconds (might have to do nanoseconds if it’s anything remotely modern) and you’ll be sure to pull whatever cover you need.
I don’t mind if people are doing ancient rituals or sacrificing goats to increase their chance of pulling better tokens but you really shouldn’t be doing anything that can possibly endanger other people.
