I used Domri’s first ability on Quartzwood Crusher and it lost trample.
It was replaced by riot.
Kinda fizzled out the Quartwood Crusher’s purpose.
Did the Trample Evergreen disappear?
Or just no longer work as designed?
I ask because I’m seeing another flavor of one Evergreen overriding another.
In my particular situation, I’m giving Vigilance (yellow Evergreen) to a critter with native Defender (white Evergreen) and said critter will no longer block Greg’s critters if death is eminent, which is Vigilance behavior and not Defender behavior.
Riot overwrote trample.
With the new set out, I was surprised to see that happen since Ikoria seems to be about giving more evergreens to creatures on the field.
I played a couple more rounds; however, I was unable to replicate this issue.
It’s possible that my opponent played a card that remove my creatures’ evergreens. This seems unlikely as my opponent was Teferi.
I know it happened or I would not have made a post.
Quartwood without trample is a beat stick…with trample it’s amazing.
This issue is now under investigation.
