Drop rate question

I have heard that the drop rate for 2* from standard token is around 16%. I just got over a 31 streak with nothing but 1*, now I am counting and at 34 1* in a row again. If this drop chance is accurate, the probability of getting 34 1* in a row is 0.26%. Just slightly worse than the 0.45% chance for my 31 in a row. Now my wife plays as well, and she has observed about 1 in 6 or so, so am I really that much “luckier” than 400 other people? I feel like I must be bugged, but I know that’s ridiculous.

Why me? I like this game a lot, but I feel that it hates my guts.

you open enough tokens, you get silly things like back to back *** from recruits too

if it makes you feel better of those 16% ** tokens, 99% are captn america/moonstone

Well, if it makes you feel any better, I’ve started stashing covers I get from my tokens to see just how bad the odds are, and 16 out of the 17 I’ve used today have been a combination of Juggernaut, Storm (Modern), Black Widow (Modern), Iron Man, and Hawkeye (Classic). All one stars, in other words. The remaining cover was an Ares one, and I haven’t bothered leveling him yet.
