Now that there is a new token, the elite standard token, is there any chance that we will see these replace the standard tokens in the daily supplies. I’m on day 500+ and I’m still seeing regular standard tokens, as many have commented on before. What day would be fair to start replacing standard tokens with elite tokens?
Since Standard tokens are random, not scheduled for specific days, Elites could replace them at any time for players with a SHIELD rank (and therefore clearance) that would be high enough to qualify.
If you think getting a standard token feels like a weak award on day 500, wait till you are still getting them on day 1,000.
In all seriousness though - it does seem like its about time for those ‘in-between’ drops (the drops that aren’t getting previewed 10 days before they arrive) could use some sprucing up. Maybe scale them a little for players getting on in years…
Yes! Shield rank should alter random daily rewards! Nobody at day 500+ cares about a standard token! This would be such an easy improvement.
That’s not true for everybody. I’m day 873 and a 
means at least 100 
that I need. It may even bring me something for a two-star or three-star character. Would I prefer having an Elite token? Sure but I’m still grateful for the Standard.
I’m only on Day 113, and would love to have something other than the regular Standard token. Don’t get me wrong, I love the free gifts, but the standards, at least with my luck on draws, just don’t aren’t exciting for the most part any more.
As far as I’m concerned, the only good thing about standards is they let me get my fix in when I’m hoarding…sometimes you just gotta open something.
