You don’t join a main bracket until you select an end time. The amount of people in your bracket should be in a red band above the black band that states how much time is left in the event. It is easiest to just check the last post in the thread, to see what the latest info someone has provided. If the time zone settings in your user profile are correct, you should be able view the time the person posted, to see how current their info is. There is a possibility of multiple brackets filling side by side, so join a “fresh” bracket at your own risk.

I joined the new clearance level 8. It said that there would be more 4* rewards to win but it looks the same as clearance level 7 had before. Are they supposed to change this in the future or is it the same?
I think they meant more 4* in placement, not progression. You still have to get top 10, but CL8 1-5 gets 3 Nova covers, 6-10 gets 2 Nova Covers. Whereas in CL7 1 gets 3 Nova covers, 2-5 gets 2 covers, 6-10 gets 1 Nova cover.
If you are really after slice 1 CL7 rather than CL8 I can say that I decided to join CL7 just because I was so uninspired by the CL8 changes.
Slice 1 CL7 is currently at 728 people, with the leader doubleu17 on 10032 points. I doubt I will get to post exactly when it flips, but will do my best.
Slice 3 CL.8 is now at 776. I joined about 2 hours ago, and it was already above 700 at that time, so it could be quite a while before it fills. I’ll try to update again in a few hours if I can.
Slice 3 CL8 is now at 937. Bear in mind that the first sub is 48 hours, so we’re still on it, and I feel pretty certain it will flip before the sub closes.
