This is the third time an Events quest doesn’t work, this time it’s “make 10 matches in your strongest color with Nightcrawler (Uncanny Spider-Man)”.
The previous times, the quest filled up without using the required character, but no luck this time. I’ve used an ascended Nightcrawler and a non-ascended, but to no avail.
Anybody managed to figure out how to beat this one?
It worked for me using 2a4 spider crawler
My 2a4 didn’t work, but my 2a3 did, these quests really put the P back into MPQ!
Someone just asked for that very thing in the monthly Q&A. Only they meant boss events. Instead they’ve given us puzzley quests

Worked for me. Sorry. I do believe you, though.
I used 2 Star Crawler Valkyrie and Shang Chi that’s how I do these quests. I literally got 8/10 after only a couple nodes
These always work right for me. It’s worth checking supports and things to make sure you know which character on your team has the strongest match dmg, since that might change it.
Today’s one on creating trap tiles doesn’t work with Sinister, but does work with America.
Today’s traps work with 3* Doom as well. Few lighting round matches and done.
It also works with Arcade!
This has been brought up before. Mr sinister black and purple passive creates trap tiles on the opponent’s turn; those do not count. His blue ability should count towards the quest.
3 star Loki suffers the same issue with his passively created CD’s when there is a ‘make CDs on your turn’ quest.
It’s annoying to say the least.

Ahh, of course. I forgot about the ‘on your turn part’. Finished it off with Arcade and Spider-man India in the end.
