SW is great as a support character, but I suggest you wait another week. From the savoury tacos it seems that they are giving SW, QS and vision next week. So it might be the last cover you need.. Without paying.

For me I am going to run a max Cyc, IMHB and SW team. I just manage to max mg IMHB this week so I am enjoying taking him out in his boosted pvp.

Just bought the 10 pack. Not one cyclops. Careful guys. Only card I’m gonna use is bullseye pink.

I suggested to the devs that when spending $$$$. 25$ you should at least get one featured character card.

Same here. Interested only in 1000 reward. My Cyclops is maxed, but, as always, I will have a problem with blue/purple because with the exception of CMags/Daken I don’t have other decent options for blue (Grocket is 2/2/1) and things are even worse for purple with only Blade being reasonable covered but still, he is only 5/4/3.

Any ideas about 2 other 3* for Cyclops’ teammates? At worst, I’ll go with the regulars (XF/CMags/Cyclops) and ignore purple

Of all the 3* you suggested, I think I’ll try

They are both 1 cover away from the build I am going for (they are both 4/4/5) and they are also both in the low 90s. This means I can get them to the 150s with the 170K I have. I have never used them because they always felt weaker than alternatives, but I guess their annoyance level is quite high. Not sure how useful She-Hulk’s blue will be, but Kamala’s purple feeding She-Hulk’s green sounds fun. It is sad this team doesn’t have a board shake ability, but we’ll how it goes.

shulkie is a pretty good defensive deterrent and can net you some defensive wins(random ap drain is random), Ms. marvel is nice with her heals, and of course, eventually her green.

KK is definitely not weak. She’s top 10(pending Thing/Antman ratings).

Shulkie is kind of weak but you’re using her on defense, mostly. I hate how they gave moonstone a strictly better version of tile stealing…

I meant a reliable shake. Cyclops’ red clears a row which, 95% of the time, doesn’t create a match, and She-Hulk’s red will probably not trigger since Cyclops has priority. You are correct about Cyclops’ yellow.

Edit: Hmm, I thought She-Hulk’s red cost was 10, but at 9 it might trigger if the AI can’t get to 10+ red AP fast after getting to 9.

don’t underestimate cheaper boardshake…if you’re that worried about it, just save multiple board shakes…

Cyclops yellow + Shulkie Red + Shulkie Red + Kamala Purple on a color you don’t want should definitely shake the board.

edit: Got to 635 points before points dried up, tried to blitz a bracket. Just want 800 points…all on stream of course. Also, Cyclops is really powerful. Haven’t played much with him because mine is only 3/4/3 but he’s super powerful even I can see from this.

don’t mean to double post but if you’re in my slice feel free to attack me, I’ve spent so much HP and I’m still not gonna get to 1000 so I’m unshielded at 800.

Just glad I got the cyclops cover.

It’s worth it as long as I spent less than 1250 HP for a cover, right?

With a 10-pack and the stated odds of 6% per token, you’ve got a 46% chance of getting 0 Cyclops.

I think there’s a thread somewhere that lists the odds of getting n tokens from a pack with the various percentages. If I find it, I’ll update this and post a link.

Edit: I did some searching, and the one I remembered was from the days of the anniversary pack, here.

I can’t find anything else that’s particularly useful, so I might put my own post together. But as a heads-up, in Excel the formula “=BINOMDIST(0,10,0.06, FALSE)” will show just how likely it is to get 0 out of a 10 pack when the draw rate is 6%.

Wolveroach’s roster is improving, but still no level-maxed 3*. I’m using that account to experiment while using Moon Roach for getting somewhere.

So in this event, my level 127 3/4/3 Cyclops is partnered with level 140 4/5/4 Daken and level 125 5/5/3 Squirrel Girl. “Why?!?”, I hear no one ask.

It’s mostly to avoid the AI on defence making stupid choices between powers. OK, there’s still a choice for Yellow, but it’s the best I could do. And I actually like SG now. I’d like her a lot better as 3/5/5, but that’s the way the covers fell.
