PVP number 5 of this season. Not sure what else I can say on this, but I will still report all of this data. I wish there was some feed back from Demi/D3 on this at some point. I know they will “look at the data” which they will pull the data they want to look at to prove their point. anyway, here it is again. 57 people missed CPs that would have gotten them in the old system.

I appreciate the data collection here, but at what point should the conclusion be: “There are 57 people who need to reconsider their gameplan.”

Alternatively, there are (probably) 57 people in s5 and s2 thanking the above for their martyrdom.

The data collection effort is awesome. But it’s nit fair ti say that 57 would have cp in the old system. Most players know the prog reward structure and play accordingly. So some people who could get 1200 have chosen not to play because they dont think they can get top 10 (e.g. me). Others may have climbed to 1200 in this environment even though they could not have done so in the old system.

The player at 1134 in 4.8.2 got hit for 150 after passing 1200. So not technically a -1 there.

Datapoint from 5.7:

1st place had 1328 and was the only one over 1200. 10th place had 935. 9 people got CP without hitting 1200.

I wasn’t in the t10. Guess I should have played PVP instead of going trick-or-treating with the kids and watching the World Series, lol.

Is there a televised event that is more conducive to playing MPQ than baseball…or really, any sport? Do you watch all those commercials? Each break is at least a match.

I’ve dropped down to CL5 hopefully I can push someone that supports this change with 40 wins out of top 10 this time.
