In addition to the recent reduction in sharing size, has anyone else noticed a reduction in how often rewards are shared? It’s just a feeling, but it doesn’t seem like I get the screen nearly as often anymore.
Seems like I hand out 8-10 a day, but I only get 1 every other day. Probably need more fb friends.
I’ve never had great success with FB sharing. On my best day I would get about 1000-1400 ISO, but usually in the 300-500 range. With this recent event, I’m mostly getting health packs, tokens and boosts.
But the way it’s set up, I can’t tell if it’s because my ‘friends’ are playing less or something internally has changed.
It feels like the amount of times I share has remained the same.
Yeah, definitely less than it was a couple weeks ago.

I know the number of incoming rewards is reduced, I’m just wondering if the outgoing are too.
In that case, yeah. My outgoings seem to be lower too.
It definitely seems that the sharing comes up a little less often, feels like it’s around half as often as the last change(seems to be a theme).
We haven’t changed anything recently involving outgoing gifts. Made quite a few backend changes to ensure that people that receive gifts actually get them, but that’s about it there.
What’s the criteria currently for sending gifts? Random chance? Time based?
Both. Random chance with a streakbreaker that makes it more likely if you haven’t shared in a while for that gift.

the number of gifts I receive has decreased dramatically the past two weeks. Just saying.
Me too. I used to wake up to 5 or 6. Now I’m lucky if I see even one. Most of them were the 140 variety, so my guess is that since they nerfed the number of people who get that amount, I’m just not showing up like I used to.
Well, there was that bug that made people share to the same 3 people. So, if you were one of those lucky people on someone’s else’s list, ou are probably seeing far less prizes now.
