They’re really trying to conclusively demonstrate how stupid their reliance on the RNG is, aren’t they? Guess it saves me HP on shields, at least. Not even going to bother trying.

Who wants to bet the 900 progression award somehow wont be blue? 2/3 chance, if they’re continuing to rely on the idiotic RNG.

Completly agree here. Come on D3 vets have had Rags with 5 red 5 green forever. Now we have to grind for top 5 to get a blue cover? So it is mor likely we will be waiting another 45-60 days for Rags to be fetured again to get his new cover. D3 must feel his blue must me way over powered to release i. The game. I really try to look on the positive side of things, but this has been really disappointing. I bought d
d3 figured it out when they gave Doom his third color. I guess I was mistaken

They announced they would buff the characters for the week. This makes more sense as you can play around with the buffed characters more. If it works they will rotate characters who get a weekly buff as well as a main buffed character.

Maybe it will be switched up every season?
It could be worse. They could be powering up Yelena, Hawkeye, Bag Man, Magnerfo, Mistaque, Beastie, Doc Fail, Ragnonerf, Invisible Bag Lady, and 4Nerf

Actually I have been seeing more diversity in HT event. Before at the upper tiers (top 25) it would be constant xf/goddess teams. Now I’m seeing a whole gamut of characters–Loki, Patch, Hood, Lazy Thor, IF, etc. If Miles wanted ppl to start using characters other than goddess/xf, well he has succeeded in that goal.

As a proud owner of a 3-5-5 Rags (The only one in the game? LOL!), I can proudly say he’s, um, not bad? A blue/green battery that self heals and dishes some cheap damage. He’s useful in PVE, and will prove a decent sidekick to LThor in PVP. The Hammer Brothers Return!

Of course, you do realize that Rags reward in FA means the season ends with a Rags PVP, right? Has this realization not dawned on the forum yet? I haven’t spotted any bellyaching threads yet!

In the Rag required nodes in the Gauntlet I got up to 30 blue and realized that if I had 5 in blue (only 1 in blue) I could’ve charged 9 green tiles and then clear them with a Surgical Strike for some crazy amount of green. Or even just try to match them and hope the AI doesn’t take it. Of course, since with only 1 blue cover I can charge a total of 3 green tiles that never went anywhere (well, I did get 6 more green AP that way), but at least the possibility was there.

My Rag is 551 b/c I have neither the $$$ to buy 2 more covers nor the interest in doing so. If you feel a maxxed out 5 blue rag will give you a distinct advantage in a potential rag pvp (not always 100% certain to occur as occasionally D3 decides to skip an event), then more power to you. And thank you for paying a portion of D3’s rent and electricity.

Well.. i have raggy at 140 with 2 powers and am sitting top 10 so far here. Im shielded and will have to finish deadpool’s challenge then upgrade daken to soldier on.

Screw daken but i need that blue power.

Heh, Daken+Patch+Loki is the team I use for most non-essential nodes in PVE - including DDQ Survival, and for climbing in Season Simulator PVP. Will be interesting (or perhaps boring) using it in a normal PVP.

But I just used the Top 5 awards to rework him to 5-5-3 (used to be 3-5-5, then 4-4-5), so will see if I start missing the extra Chemical Reaction damage and regretting this choice…

You won’t. The 5th purple cover is the most important cover for Daken.

They’ll be buffed in Ragnarok as well I think. They said a week, which generally includes 3 pvps, and would run until the end of the season.
