I’m not sure exactly what it is, but that February 21 day reward looks really exciting to me!
Well it seems that the super pack we are used to get is replaced by 3 cards ! I’m not sure I’m really excited. Less cards, less orbs, less crafting…

I thought it looked like a picture of three Ixalan packs, but as I said I’m not sure.
Nope, those are 2 bfz and 1 origins card, all commons.
But! It might mean, based on their colouring:
1 uncommon
1 mythic
1 rare
Which would be a lot better than a single super pack!
Or 3 colour packs? All the images are shaded according to their actual colours
They’re not Ixalan cards. In order, they are Malakir Familiar, Molten Nursery, and Kor Bladewhirl.
If anything, that means we’re looking at a 3-color pack as @Hesturk has suggested, or we’re looking at something from the Battle for Zendikar expansion (the set that contains all three of those cards).
So instead of IX boosters, you get Legacy cards you cannot use in standard events to win IX boosters.
I don’t think it has to do with rarity. It’s a black, red, and white card, in that order. I think they’re just shaded to indicate the overall color of the cards.
What have been other event rewards? Could be random mythic from those 3 colors for Ixalan.
That seems terrible, unless I’m missing something here.

I think that’s an old image they used during bfz. Then we got a big box iirc.

I also think it’s a placeholder. Of corpse the reward will be from Ixalan, but they don’t want us to know it yet.
Although from those cards I’m missing 2 (have the familiar) and would have no problem in accepting them with the Ixalan prize 
I thought maybe it was a placeholder too but why not just use HOU art if they’re just going to change it?

Normally when they release a new set in the middle of the month the daily rewards don’t change to the new set until the next month.

Not holding my breath any longer… They would have buried me 3 months ago if that were the case.
I say its the same as usual… They just changed the art so we feel like something is happening… lol.
They never said that it would be this week.

Same as … Hibernium? That’s quite a stretch considering that the only basis to complain is that Ixalan is delayed… whose fault is that? Hibernium, not Oktagon. Delayed because of Booster crafting? That’s on us. We’ve got miles of posts in here on that subject demanding its creation and Oktagon complied… Would Hibernium? Highly doubtful.
I get it though. We’re all impatient to a different degree. It has been 7 months since a set was released. If anything I agree with you about stop being impatient but in my case, I’ll reserve judgement when the set is released on schedule and how well it is implemented. Not because I’m jaded by the sins of the predecessor.
We should all be celebrating the fact that the game we all love [else we wouldn’t be in here yammering about it, whether good or bad] is about to get a breath of fresh air. A new dev, a new direction and hopefully a fresher and more entertaining game for us all.
