Right now when building decks it’s possible to apply a filter that shows all the cards you’ve mastered, but wouldn’t it make sense to also have a filter for cards you haven’t mastered? It would make it much simpler to swap in new cards to master.
I think especially once people start mastering more of their collections, it will become difficult to find that small handful of cards that still need mastering…
Bump. This is such a basic feature that was missed! Why would anybody want to see which cards they already mastered?
Take it a step further - add a little “M” on cards that are mastered, so that we can see mastered and unmastered cards without filters (for deckbuilding purposes).
I’ve posted this before, but they should do a cool card frame for cards that are mastered instead of the plain solid line. Even better a different one for each rarity: common could be bronze with a little bit of ornamentation, uncommon would be similar but with silver, rare would be gold and a little fancier, and mythic could be gold with gemstones.
They could also put in a tiny XP bar under the name wherever it’s not full card art.
I’ve been wanting a filter to find Non-Mastered cards since color mastery was put in, so I definitely second the original suggestion. The card frames would be a nice touch. It’d be cool too if they could show them off during matches.
Whether or not we get the graphical augmentations, please, please, hurry up a patch to the deckbuilding filter screen to filter down to only unmastered cards. The graphical fluff would be nice, but the lack of a filter to things that still need mastering is causing a world of pain for everyone who’s trying to do colour mastery at all.
Look at the number of thumbs on the OP: 14! That’s the most I’ve seen anywhere on anything in the MTGPQ forums. If everyone thumbing represents even 50 users who don’t visit the boards, that’s a big percentage of your userbase who’re aching for this feature. And the implementation ought to be completely trivial given that you can filter down to cards that are mastered (for some reason).
I’ll echo everyone here. I actually don’t know why the current filter shows us mastered cards, what does that matter? Programming-wise, that seems like it’s a very simple fix. I don’t care what cards I already have mastered…
