Thrilled to see Rocket and Groot, and I need a blue and three yellows to complete him, so this will get him most of the way there (and actually to 13 covers) if I get top 25.
I guess that many players are still looking for R&G covers (mine is far from complete) and the competition should be intense…

I know I’m taking time to earn covers and complete characters, I’m not in a hurry… I’m interested in R&G reward though
Aaargh latest R&G PVP also rewarded blue for 150 + Alliance reward. Obviously it’s the only cover I have maxed! I thought that was not supposed to happen.
With ~7 hours left, shielded for 8 hours at 687 and 8th place. Only need top 25. I’ll be able to break shields and put up a 3 hr if I need to; if I don’t I’ll just let it ride. I think this is my first time shielding since they put the cooldowns in effect, so I’m curious if shielding was a good idea or not. I was on my lunch break, so I figured I’d run up 100 points and see if it was worth it or not.
Well, that was only the second time Grocket was given out in PVP. Vets are out in force because most of us need the covers, so you’ll see a higher point requirement for t25 than usual.
Expect much worse for Squirrel Girl in the next PVP.
Usually, I climb to 800 which will just crack the top 10 before throwing up an 8 hour shield. More often than not that’s good for top 10 placement in my brackets. This time I managed to climb to 900 before throwing up shield and it secured me a top 5 position with no need to unshield. From my experience there’s very little movement in the top 10 starting around 6 hours before the end. I’m not sure if this holds true for top 25 but I kind of doubt it.
With about 40 minutes left, was at #21 and not feeling very secure, so I did a quick hop for 71 points and reshielded at 758, #11. Think that should keep top 25. Only 20 minutes left.
