Nonce offered a good solution. A cd tile that you would want to stick around is given a negative number and counts upward towards zero. That way if you cast a power that reduces a countdown (eg Intimidation) the number becomes more negative and keeps it around for an extra turn. Similarly, if the AI casts something like OBW’s blue, instead of helping you, it adds to the negative number and brings it closer to zero.
Why not?
Eh, I quite like using Kingpin to boost Falcon’s effectiveness in goon nodes. Especially when Kingpin is essential and I have to use him. It made grinding for that 1CP bearable.
