Currently reading The Amazing Spider-Man from the start… The last panel had me laughing for quite
a while.
(from ASM #62)
Loved X-men growing up. I spent a ton of money when I was a kid to buy Uncanny X-Men #142, when Wolverine got toasted by a Sentinel.
Old school cosmic throw down: Galactus vs Mephisto (I definitely should get the TPB Silver Surfer: Judgement Day). There are actually quite a few awesome panels from this story that it was difficult to choose just one!
Can’t seem to add pictures, so I’ll have to settle for a link to 2 panels:
Reminds me of Seth Rogen in Super Bad.. “Everything is covered in ‘DNA’”
The Gwen Stacy neck snap
Anything from the Maximum Carnage series is what got me hooked into comics. I always collected but this series made me want to be an artist. I wish I could find all my drawings from these comics. It was just so awesome!
I have a lot, actually. I do love the fall of Skurge that CNash posted above, as well as the Phoenix Saga which TheRoadWarrior posted an iconic panel from. Here’s another page from that story…
Gets a good chuckle everytime.
From the Korvac Saga arc in Avengers. Forget the fact that a lot of them can fly and carry the non-fliers, Tony Stark figured the fastest way to get from midtown Manhattan to Forest Hills Queens is to take a bus. ![]()
Easily my favorite comic book story of all time, X-Men vs the Brood (Uncanny X-Men 232-234). This is the moment where I actually thought they were all tinykittyed.
Marvel 2 in 1 Annual #7
When Thing fights Champion. Can’t post image.
X-Men: God Loves, Man Kills
