It’s currently post-event, but I got a token using 5* Deadpool.
This is not the first time a token preceds the vault. It will show up in a while. I’ll wait for it this time.
Nor will it be the last. I always wait for it to go live. I like knowing what’s in it before pulling.

The in game message says to use friends of the characters featured in the vault.
Sadly this is a pretty common occurrence that is super difficult to work around. The infrastructure doesn’t allow us to “schedule” daily plays, and patching is manual (also not scheduled). As a result, when we patch a daily play goes live, and the tokens it gives out are handled as “post event” vaults even if they have never run before. It’s an annoyance. We’re working on a system update that allows for scheduled patching and one that more elegantly handles tokens for vaults that aren’t live yet.
I know it won’t happen, but sometimes I wish you could just shut down for a week or two. Land the plane, fix it, then take off again.

They can’t.
They don’t release characters, the game dies.
They could just take the easy way and just copy 1-4* versions into 5s as new characters until they get things fixed.. 5 version of 2* Ares.. why not
After they release 5* Ares, they cross over and release a 5* Wonder Woman to kill him.

And I love them for it.
So did they stop giving out daily tokens for this vault? I didn’t get one yesterday at any time and I used Kitty at one point and both Deadpool’s this morning in DDQ and never got one. Just curious if I’m the only one seeing this happen.
