I’m running IOS. I can:

  1. Go to the Anniversary Event and win the node
  2. Return to Galactus and fight the boss fight if it was locked
  3. No points are added to either team or me
  4. The lock timer is reset.

I thought it might be a hidden feature but it turns out that it just makes things worse, costing me additional health packs and a lost unlock node. Would be interested if anyone else sees this behavior.

Yeah, this “feature” gives you a chance to battle G for no points and moves up your unlock timer.

I’ve used it to try a couple of different teams against G, but it screwed up my unlock timer so I missed one battle that could have been for points.

I guess the only time to try this is right after completing your last fight if you want to try out a different crew.

After playing with the “feature”, I decided to bring XFW, IF, and Hood into my last round of clears… I figured that it might not slow him down much, but it might also give me a couple of extra AP before he kills me… hopefully leading to extra damage against him or a win on my part.
