Gelatinous Cube vs herald token - lock [Investigating]

I had a token of Jorn, God of Winter on the battlefield.
Opponent played Gelatinous Cube and exiled the token.

On the next turn I destroyed Cube with Hagra Mauling and the game locked down.
Really upset, as I had all the objectives down already in the coalition event.
