GG : Any big benefit to a 1/1/1 vs 0/1/1?

So, the first 5* Hero for Hire is a Black GG and mine is currently at 0/1/1. I’ve read what the glider does and don’t see any reason to purchase it but didn’t know if I was missing something. Is there any benefit to getting that one black cover when my GG is so undercovered anyways? Thanks for the help!

In my opinion the value of HFH for a classic 5* with 1-8 covers is marginal at best.

HFH is useful if you don’t have the character at all or to get the last 1-2 covers.

In your case, you’ll likely have a better black user than 1 cover GG and if you don’t, you’re better off gathering AP your other characters can use.

Thanks. There are two 5* I don’t have so will wait and if I need to spend CP will do it on them. Appreciate the help.
