I wanted to post here before adding to the big topic. Is Ghost Riders penance stare supposed to be able to use as a team up. I’ve seen it twice now and they were on difficult matches and out of nowhere they AI uses a stare as a team up and take out one character with full health. If that how it’s supposed to work, I’ll start giving out my ghost as a team up.
Seen it plenty of times. It always freaks me out when the opponent has one.
My Cyclops paid dearly today for his full on Combined Forces thanks to a Penance Stare team up. Rarely look properly at what they’ve got.
Yep. It’s TU-able.
And as a teamup it’s pretty great because Penance Stare isn’t tied to level, so you get the same effect from it regardless of what level your teamups otherwise come in.
Yes, it is great for boss events.
Yes, you should be giving it out as a TU.
Def send it out on round 7/8 of bosses if you have teammates struggling with it. They can send out a healer or high health character to soak up a bunch of damage and then use the TU to melt the boss’s face. Came up huge for me on the last run of Galactus.
Combine it with healers during boss events and you’ve got a TU that does damage out the wazoo later in the match. (It’s fun doling out 30k-40k+ with a single TU).
Not so much fun when it’s used against you.
Yes it’s a very popular team up for high end play. Using that against a 5 star. Bam.
