The vanguard Gideon Blackblade doesn’t allow you to activate his +1 or -6 abilities unless you control a non-token creature.
The static ability on the card references ‘your first non-Token creature’ but the other abilities do not.
So we should be able to activate them.
+1 look to require a creature on my side, but it should be any kind
-6 should require a creature on my opponents side to target, but shouldn’t look at my creatures on the battlefield at all.
