Omen of the Hunt is the cause.
when it matches 5 green gems when it comes into play, it will give you another swap.

I received lots of extra swaps in the past coalition events not playing Omen but never in rotgp event.
It’s not just omen, it’s having some (possibly any) support gems involved in a 5-match.
Ive been through this endless nightmare. No new turn. Its madness.
