I’ve climbed to 300 so far, and WOW. Jean is an anti-meta machine. I’ve wiped twice with IF/HB against teams that have no business putting up competition, and these matches seem so much slower than usual. This is gonna be a real slog to 1.3.

How come it is not HB blue at 1300 ? I thought it was :

• 1st PvP top 1 → 1 cover of a 4*
• 2nd PvP 1000 points → next cover of same 4*
• 3rd PvP 1300 points → last cover of same 4*

That’s the usual pattern, yes. Sometimes they change that pattern with newly released 4* though…

Get my first jean grey cover in 300/625 event token(not sure which one).
Still aim at 1k progression rewards then i may possibly stop. For me, 1300 is always hard to achieve.

I expect to see a lot of loaner jeans for this event, since a relatively small portion of the playerbase would have her. People looking to use stormneto or if/hb combos are cautioned to thread carefully.

Personally, it’s a good thing I finally maxed out my ock. His powers will complement jean grey’s quite nicely.

yuck.. nothing but JG/Loki/3*Mags teams everywhere! i need that r&g green @ 800 to fully cover him (after i get my covers from last pvp) … terrified of cascades! No thunderstrikes or inhuman stretchiness anywhere.

best team so far has been Blade, Mags, JG.. keeping Trickery team ups in case i get overwhelmed.. but with purple as the strongest color, once you get nightstalker off, his attack tiles are not far behind.. they decimate loaner and 2 cover JG 's

I’m a little unconvinced by the JG/Loki/X teams. The JG is usually a loaner, which means their only firepower is the 3*Mags or similar, so you can pretty easily pull their teeth. Luckily, the fully covered JG/Loki teams are rare.

Ok, need some help here.. got to 300 easy enough.. but with my roster, and lvl 200+ JG’s and Fury’s everywhere.. i am getting roasted alive..

I have been using 5/3/5 Cyclops, Loaner (saves on health packs) and 3/5/5 KK..

check out my roster, any advice on how to take on these teams? BTW, demolition is a tinykitty..

I’m seeing a lot of cage/ht or ht/loki teams. Also some if/hb teams (why???). I did some soft climbing w/ both, and I could understand why people want to use them.

I would go w/ cyclops/laken or cage/cmag. Combining JG with KK is a big no-no.

seeing lots of torch/anyone (including me). HT is the only offense that’s boosted, so lots of him. kinda like next week Cyclops will be everywhere.

Made it to the 650 token.. and for the very first time ever, in over 210 days.. i got the featured from the Token! My first gold from an event/pvp token in over 2 seasons!

bringing her to 2/2/1 … best new char release stats since IMHB (which i ended 0/3/2)!

800 not looking likely as seeing nothing but fistbusters now.. so free points.. may try for 800 tomorrow, would be the last r&g cover i need, but not worried to aweful much about it.
