Hand Ninja Timeshifting

This is a fairly minor nitpick… but it bugs the hell out of me.

In my game – iPhone, for the record, as I don’t know if this happens on the Steam version or Android version – the effects that happen upon downing a Ninja of the Hand (e.g. the placement of attack tiles) animate BEFORE the actual tile-shift animation for the move that downs them. In any event with Gorgon and his goons, I spend about 10% of my time frantically jabbing my phone saying “HEY I SHIFTED THOSE” before it finally animates my move.

If the answer is “that’s for gameplay purposes so that the placed tiles can be matched/eliminated by your match or any subsequent cascades”… well, so be it. But it bugs the hell out of me nonetheless!

It’s very weird. But maybe the death of the enemy is somehow connected to their skills in such a way that it has to activate before they officially die? I mean, all other passives activate only if the character targeted lives through the attack.
