As a break from all the grumbling, I was wondering who was everyone’s first maxed character?
I’ve just got my IM40 to level 141 so I’m chuffed about that. Reminds me when I got my first 2* to top level (Thor).
Granted if I had the covers IM40 wouldn’t have been my first choice, but his were the most abundant for me.
This should take my mind off the fact that pvp is now much tougher for me now!
My first was IM40. Mind you, most people don’t use him anymore since he is a weak 3 star. Mind you. not Spideyrok weak, but still pretty weak.
Lazy Thor was my first 141, followed closely by cMags and then Patch. Hopefully Black Panther will be next, just need one more blue cover for him and then I can max him out (currently at level 120).
Finished Pun and Grey Suit at the same time, with tons of saved Iso. But favored Pun over Grey Suit, so technically he was my first. If I had used the lingo of the OP back then, I would have leveled Grey Suit first.
Other maxed chars: Patch & Mags and 5 levels left for Hood (but no Iso left). Next up: LT (and hopefully LD).
Modern Storm, followed closely by IM35 and modern Black Widow. Classic hawkeye came next.
After that it was OBW, Classic Storm, MagNow!, Moonstone, Astonishing Wolverine.
Then I finally got enough covers to complete my first 3 star - Punisher.
And so far, that’s all I have max leveled. So depending on how you want that question answered:
First Character maxed - Modern Storm
First 2 star maxed - Original Black Widow
First 3 star maxed - Punisher
It’s kinda sad that I remember the order of those. But then, there’s only ten of them.
1* - IM40
2* - MNThor
3* - Both LCap and LDaken are close (2 and 3 covers).
My first–and so far, only–141 is 3* Thor. I also have full covers and proper specs for Punisher (120) and 3* Cap (85), though I’ve been pushing ISO into Hulk and Dak3n, both of whom have enough covers to go over 100, but not all the way to 141.
First maxed 1* was IM35. 2* was Thor. No maxed 3* yet.
Juggernaut.
I don’t think I maxed any other 1 stars… and then c.storm, → 2* wolvie → 2* daken.
I think that is all I have maxed… and I no longer have juggernaut.
I’ve been playing since day one and don’t have a 141 yet. But I do have 9-10 that are over level 100.
I think 2* Thor was my first maxed character. This was back when leveling a character would replenish their health. So, you were constantly encouraged to level the characters you used the most.
Interestingly enough, IM40 was also my first 3* maxed; they gave him out like candy early on and I needed someone who could tank blue for Classic Storm. After him I maxed Grey Suit Black Widow and then Spiderman, and those three were my core team for a long time.
Can’t rem who was my first character maxed, probably Modern storm. 1st 2* wud b OBW. Was running this combo for my 1*-2* transition period jungle env.
1st 3* - CMag. N saving up ISO now for my 5th maxed 3*
1* - IM35
2* - Wolverine
3* - Big Pun
4* - lolwut
First maxed 3* for me was L Cap and don’t regret it. The control he gives over the board when combined with OBW is superb while matches are slow to get going you essentially ‘win’ once you get either his Yellow or Red power off.
Jealous. Since I wasn’t in a competitive alliance during the rain of 3* Cap covers, mine has 5 yellow, 5 red and 1 blue. The ridiculous imbalance in his cover distribution is a travesty, and while I would gladly break into the HP bank for him, I’m not spending 5k HP to max his blue.

2 - Wolverine
3 - Punisher
1 star - Yelena Belova. What? She was buffed in an early Dark Avengers tourney.
2 star - Storm/Thor, around the same time
3 star - Punisher, but I had IM40 at lv100+ before I got my first punisher cover.
Punisher, Hood, Patch.
But the first 3* I got 13/13 covers for was Psylocke.
Magneto should have been 2nd, but I was afraid of the nerf… still afraid of the nerf… He is still only at 124, which is a shame really as he alone deserves more ISO than both my level 119 Psylocke and level 128 Black Panther combined.
That’s a crying shame, LazyCap is ridiculously fun to play with.
1* - IM35
2* - Storm
3* - Still trying to get there
The game must feel very different to players who have started in the last couple of weeks with all the 2* cover drops. I never felt that I had any decisions to make about which characters to build or level. When I got a cover I leveled that character up. Seems like now there is much more opportunity to be strategic about which characters to build.
