Have season points been changed, or am I misremembering?

I seem to recall that in past seasons, your overall season score never lost points even if you lost points in an individual PVP event.

For example, I’d earn 500 points in PVP, then lose 100. My season score would still be 500.

Maybe i’m totally remembering this wrong, but that’s how it seemed.

This season, it looks like season points are going down with losses… Am I right in thinking this, or am I just remembering past season incorrectly?

Really though it’s always been that way. Season points are actual, not maximum earned.
