A couple of things.

  1. This event started before the first slice of Cover Squirrel ended. I don’t think we’ve had overlap like that before.
  2. Winfinite is back!

I suspect Cyclops and Hood will be the boosted team to beat this time around…

Winfinite is awesome, climbed from 400 to 1000 in 45 minutes and 2 or 3 health packs earlier on today (crushing the Ss and OML combos was the most satisfying thing), 3 hours later, I was back to 400. I’ll try and find a quiet time tomorrow to climb and shield icon_e_smile.gif

How can it be possible that 734 points aren´t enough to get in the Top100? It´s my second best PvP-Score! icon_eek.gif

Having an unusually hard time finding matches worth over 35 points. pretty much from the moment I hit 900 points I’ve been having to skip almost 50 times per shield hop, and now the vast majority are worth 5-7 points each…and I can see unshielded people in my bracket above me on the leaderboard, but their teams are nowhere to be found no matter how many times I skip past 5 point teams.

I’ve reached 1300 for the first time ever, and any satisfaction to be gained from that is reduced by the fact that this doesn’t even net me top 25!

The PvP placement rewards BADLY need an update similar to the PvE ones. It is ridiculously hard to get even 1 3* cover from placement rewards.

Agreed! I think that top 25 have to get three cover, top 50 two cover and top 150 one cover.

Fighting Hulkbusters is interesting when the featured character has a red power too. He just used Overdrive, will I get Repulsor Punched or will Widow fire her Pistol instead? Bonus points if she takes out the strike tiles!

Thats the trade off of being in a big BC and active shard. Easy to make 1300, hard to place. You can try shard 2, harder to make 1300, but T10 placements are very viable.

Hit 1000 for the 2nd time ever.
It was my love of icon_deadpool.png
that made me do it. I was lucky with the powered up characters this week. Max hood/cyck with a 220 Black Widow.

It was hard and frustrating. Got to that point where you are losing more points in battle than you are making. Got knocked down to low 800’s at that point. I shielded andwaited a couple of hours, since at the time I was 8.5 hours from the event finish, which I realize now is a foolish time to push.
In the end over 30 helath packs from deadpool tokens and 1 super whale (I was nervous about time) and I reached 1000.

I intend to push hard for the upcoming icon_ghostrider.png
After that I will be satisfied for the season.
