I included the buffs in the OP, but if my reading of that was correct, looks like these same characters will be buffed for the rest of the PVPs this week.
Seems like we’ll get 2 4*, 5 3*, 2 2*, and 2 1*.

Played a couple fights against seeds already and having the other 3* buffed is neat. Loki + Hood + Torch is nasty.

fighting overscaled ares over and over and over. sounds like every other pve we have. i was certain the other 2* buff would be moonstone, but no its cap

i really want the daken, but im not sure my sanity can take it.

Assuming it was intentional, running the test with a buffed Juggs and Ares was a very good idea.

If buffing 1 and 2* characters is going to have unforeseen effects, those are the two that are going to make madness happen in the lower ranks.

Perhaps in 2* world. In the 3-4* realm I’m guessing we’ll be looking at combinations of maxed Torch, Hood, Loki, XF, and 3 or 4* Thor. May go with Patch/Loki for the early climb just for fun though.

Might max Torch for this one, as he’s been sitting at 133 for ages and I’ve been stockpiling iso since there’s no one left to really spend it on.

This is what I want to know. There was the question in a thread awhile back if 3* Patch was boosted, would he better than XF (would they need a nerf): this will be the test to let us know. 270 patch over say 220 X-Force?

Why call it hot shot? Why not call it random character buffs including making overpowered 1 and 2 star characters even more overpowered to find creative ways to make the game worse?

Fully leveled Torch along with Patch and three star Iron Man have made a pretty decent team in the early climb. IM yellow feeding into Torch’s red make short work of some pretty decent opposition.

I’m genuinely surprised by the 3*s they chose to power up. I thought I was going to have to consider dumping iso into little used characters. . . but no, they’ve given buffs to the characters I would have used anyway. I’m almost disappointed. . . almost.

If this is gonna be the norm, Nerf jugs and ares already. People with developed 3/4 star rosters shouldn’t get taken down regularly by these overpowered clowns. Pve is already a pain because of these two at buffed levels.

I doubt you’ll be seeing level 100 Juggs taking down 3 Star Rosters if he’s not paired with an actual partner.

I’m sorry but buffing multiple characters being buffed in an event that is solely designed to buff A SINGLE CHARACTERS. So what I’m the world is the point of taking away from the FEATURED CHARACTERS. Cause I’m sorry I shouldn’t do 2 matches then have to deal with some rediculesly buffed two star character that can standup to my maxed 3 stars with out an issue.

If you are getting regularly taken down by a 170 Ares, and 100 Juggs, I would say that you likely do not have a “developed” 3-4* roster as mentioned. I’m currently running maxed Patch, Loki, and 245 Torch, and have laughed of all of the Ares I’ve seen so far.
170 Ares is a solid as some of the better 166 3*, but he’s still just one character, and you get to bring mega boosted characters as well. I can certainly see 2* teams without Ares struggling, but solid 3* players with buffed characters should be fine.

I haven’t joined a slice yet. But a buffed ares = more damage dealt to my team while climbing = more health packs I will have to use. Forget it D3 I will never buy a health pack, stop trying to force me to.

I love getting “Sui-sundered” by ares when he has 87 health and dead next turn.
I love having 70 points and 4th matchup some will get hit for 4k from a buffed onslaught, may as well face xf that early.

Sorry but I just really hate this character and I always attack people that use him out of spite
