How do you know? PvP edition

There’s someone I found in the PVP test. Two boosted 4* + a 1* BW. I hit the team earlier, they retaliated a little while ago, I was at 39 wins and hit them again. They retaliated. Now I see instead of BW, they are running out a nearly max champed 3* IM.

What’s the etiquette here? Are they wanting to be hit so they can retal and boost wins? Or is the switch to IM a “leave me alone”?

I’ll keep tapping someone that sees me as an easy retal and needs points but I don’t want to mess with someone who is actually trying to place either.

If they’re worth points, hit them. If they don’t want to be hit, they should shield up.

They want you to hit them, wait a bit until you’re worth more pts and then hit you with their stronger team.

They’re baiting you basically, decide wether its worth it to you or not.
