I’ve been in the same rather unremarkable and fairly quiet alliance for a couple of months or so, and we’ve always had the same commander. I noticed today that she is no longer a member and that I have been bestowed with the commander title. Can anyone tell me how this happens? I’m just curious if it was totally random, or if she for some reason just decided to promote me before going M.I.A. Do I now have ultimate power in my alliance, although un-looked for? Is my power unchecked, if I start ruling with an iron fist?? Mwahahahaha!!
Before she left, she made you a commander. I did the same thing when I semi-retired. Speaking for myself only, I gave it to a daily player who was always nice in the chat. I thought they would continue the alliance in the fashion I had. But ultimately if they wanted to be a 
then that’s fine too.
