Yes, Hearthstone arena costs 150g to enter, but the average prize value is actually more than that; it’s something like 172 gold (see https://us.battle.net/forums/en/hearths … 8124306598 for some stats). The median prize is less than 150g though.
I agree that drafting events in mtgpq could be awesome.
Umm I play a similar Liliana deck and win in 5 minutes or less, can’t imagine how it takes you 15. I win in under 2 minutes with my nahiri build regularly. Look at Yunnn’s zoo post in the strategy forum.
We started on the second bracket of the first day I think, and this is what happens when two players with too much time on a weekend both want to open a box of the new expansion(bait and switch BTW, it was soi) badly, but have decks of similar speed.
We pretty much paced each other to the finish line over the course of 3 days, and I only came out ahead because I assume grizzo wasn’t as willing as I was to go to work the next day without sleep.
The real secret to winning a quick battle is to not start in the same bracket as a rival.
Yes, you are right, I exaggerated to much, but my point was to say that it takes much more time for some PW to win than for others because of the style of the decks.
Let’s say that it takes Nahiri (lev 60) 2 min to win and Liliana (lev 60) 4 min. In that case it Nahiri needs 6,66h to get 1200 point and Liliana needs 13,3h even though both of them have great decks. For me it’s really unfair.
And to be honest it’s not even a problem of balance (even though “Harbinger” skill gives a huuuuge advantage). The problem is the animation - the difference in time is caused by slowly spawning many zombies.
Anyway, I would love to see someone other than Nahiri winning Quick Battle in one minute.
I just played 3 games in a row in QB with Nahiri (not the fastest ones, rather average form start screen to start screen). In total that took me 7 min 50 secs. So average 2,5 - 3 min per battle seemes to be correct.
