How does the point you get in an even actually work. Cause i have don alle the nodes in The Simulator until they only gave one point. So i was nr. 1. But then a guy suddenly bounced 200ish points ahead of me within 2 mins, how does that even work?
yeah, but the event hasnt even been up for more than what 2-3 hours? and I was online when it started, just seems strange how he can get 200 points more in no time. cause there must be a fixed amount of points you can actually get until they are all 1 points per match?
It’s what people call “rubber banding”. The further behind the overall leader you are, the more points missions are worth so that you can catch up without needing to play 24 hours a day. The mission can be worth up to 10x the initial value when you are thousands of points behind. At the start it doesn’t matter much that someone overtook you, it just means that on the next reset (in 8 or 12 hours time probably) your missions will be worth more than the person that overtook you, so you will overtake them back. Rubber-banding should mean that lots of progression awards are possible for everyone to achieve.
I’m through with calling people cheaters, but I’d probably start there. But if you do, there will be 5 people to claim they are just better in the game than you are. Who knows.
Well it do look suspicious and i dun have any clear explanation till after 2 or 3 days the event progress to determine how its system works…
but here is my opinion… as the event name suggested… is called The Simulator… perhaps it is based on player roster and assign a proper level of AI character to battle with… so probably with it low roster player it is assigned with low level enemy to fight against so that low roster player able to compete against other high roster player… plus you know how the game work… pay to win… probably it is a system that designed to lure newcomer by allowing they get #1 spot in the event and make them think it is “Fun and balance” thus spend hp to earn more cover and ISO… but still try your best to keep in shape… for us old timers probably top 5 should be easily achievable..
