The developers claimed interest again in fixing the roster slot issue, so we might as well help them out by letting them know how much their solution, DDQs, actually helped everyone out. I have pulled 250 3 times so far, so it hasn’t even earned me a roster slot. I am curious though if other players were luckier. How much would you estimate you earned so far through the DDQs?
What I hope this points out is that DDQs might have been a fix for some, but did very little to help others. A roulette is not a way to fix a problem, so here is hoping they find a practical solution this time
As of June 7th by my, possibly wrong, count we have had 110 days of DPDQ therefore 220 possible Tacos.
Ive seen calcs showing the average value of a Taco as just over 13HP (cant find link right now) so people should be just shy of 3k HP. Lets see if the numbers bear it out.
Personally Ive cashed all, except today, and pulled the 250 six times with zero pulls of the 1k.
1 1000 hp taco and 4 250 hp tacos, so 2000 total. I haven’t seen a hp taco in the last month and a half. (I have 4 tacos saved up from last week and 2 from today).
That is why I capped it at 3k, it seemed like anyone having pulled 3k by now has gotten enough HP for the DDQs to have helped them out substantially, any more than that is very lucky. I personally pulled 3 250s, so I am on the low end unfortunately, but I still have 35 tokens to open crosses fingers.
The ROI on the tokens is 13HP (1000*.003+250*.04). So with today’s, you’re looking at 2886.
I’ve opened 213, have 5 stockpiled, and missed a day (plus haven’t earned todays yet).
I’m at 13x250 and 0x1000, for 3250HP. So a bit above expectation, but nothing crazy.
At 220 tokens, 51.63% to no pull the 1000, and 0.53% to pull only 2x250. So, unless I’m doing the math wrong, it’s about 5 in 200 users that will get that low return.
I just opened 85 during Iron Fist week and got 1000 + 6 x 250. In addition to that 2500, I had pulled the 250 before, but never the 1000. Probably another 3 to 5 times, so I have pulled somewhere between 3,250 and 3,750 hp with another 42 tokens and counting saved for the next Iron Fist week.
Worth noting: in that time, they have released Iron Fist, Kingpin, Kamala Khan, Quicksilver, Hulkbuster, Scarlet Witch, Vision, Carnage. You are getting approximately 20 tacos for every character released (when they are released every other week, it seems to vary). If it’s one every three weeks you’d be getting 390 HP per character (at 13HP average per taco), if it’s a character every week you’re getting 260 HP per character.
And if you have one of each character, your slots cost above 900HP each already I believe?
Well, I’m part of an elite 2.5% club, I suppose. Maybe I’ll get my own parking space. ^.^ Hopefully a windfall (and not a Wind Storm) is coming my way soon!
